After 20 years of senior and board level property experience, Amanda Steel (BSc Hons) MRICS, founder of AM Project Consultancy, recognised that there was an opportunity in the property sector for a boutique property consultancy who can offer project flexibility, develop focused strategies for clients, but most importantly, based on the agreed recommendations with the client, be able to deliver high quality financially sound property solutions. As Amanda says, “It is about managing the project from start to finish and sharing the success and the challenges with the client by working always as a team together”.

The team is led Amanda, where Amanda takes very much a “hands-on approach” to delivering for clients. All team members are qualified Chartered Surveyors. They have extensive experience in senior management positions in large, multi-national, blue-chip corporations across all major property sectors.

Amanda has an impressive track record with a career spanning nearly 20 years as Group Property Director EMEA for Thomson Reuters, Property Director for Odeon Cinemas Ltd, Head of Property for Rank Group and Estate Manager for Allied Domecq Plc. Amanda’s experience has been broad and encompasses Compliance, Facilities Management, Development, Project Management, Security, Business Continuity and Asset Management.

On individual projects Amanda has been instrumental in realising property savings of £20 million, pursued imaginative ways of managing a £3 billion portfolio, and has risen to the challenge of completing numerous corporate mergers and acquisitions with change and cultural integration considerations. Amanda enjoyed the intricacies of completing significant and complex portfolio transactions from inception to finalisation.

Important to Amanda are two fundamental aspects of delivery that appear consistently throughout all of Amanda’s work, improving the customer experience and implementing cost saving initiatives. This provides the foundation AM Project Consultancy’s bespoke change process, which gives structure and flexibility to the client experience of working with AM Project Consultancy.
